The AMD Learning Lab opened this fall to help Ann Richards School students enhance their STEM programming opportunities. 30 computers were donated with hardware setup to run engineering and gaming software. GenHERation and NFP hosted a financial literacy workshop to help our 12th graders develop the skills needed to succeed as a young professional. During a one hour workshop, Keith Hoffman with NFP, presented an experiential learning session to teach our Stars how to make “cents” of their future.

Each year our Star 6th graders start the school year with a community project that aims to teach them the skills to collaborate, create, and communicate in groups.
