The Ann Richards School is a public all-girls school of choice that serves grades 6-12 for the Austin Independent School District.

Campus Life

Our students work hard and play hard. Students are encouraged to enhance their studies through athletics, band, orchestra, choir, theatre arts, & dance. The Stars compete in the 5A district for UIL in Volleyball, Cross Country, Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field, Softball, & Swimming.

The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders (ARS) is a public, all-girls college preparatory school of choice founded to educate young women from diverse backgrounds, and serves grades 6 - 12 within the Austin Independent School District (AISD).

ARS is part of the Young Women's Preparatory Network (YWPN), a member of the International Coalition of Girls' Schools (ICGS), and an affiliate school of the Young Women's Leadership Network (YWLN).

The annrichardsschool.org website is funded and maintained by the Ann Richards School Foundation.
