The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders received an A grade and scored a 98 out of 100 on the recent Texas Education Agency school accountability rankings. ARS was awarded academic distinctions for Science, Math, English Language Arts/Reading, Social Studies, Post-Secondary Readiness and Top 25 Percent Comparative Closing the Gaps.
The Class of 2020 seniors kicked off an energetic pep rally and annual Star Walk to start the new school year. This week our Star teachers were welcomed back to the Ann Richards School campus to start preparing for the 2019-2020 school year. Our faculty participated in multiple days of professional development that included collaboration on curriculum enhancements they learned over the summer break. School starts on Tuesday, August 20!
