The 2020-2021 school year started for the Stars after Labor Day with 912 students logging in to virtual classrooms. This week our Star faculty and admin teams kicked off the fall semester with a special drive-thru welcome for our new students. Each student met their new teachers, from a social distance, and received a goodie bag full of Ann Richards School swag, including their first official ARS t-shirt.
This past February, the Oracle Education Foundation brought their “Hello Wearables” coding class for two weeks to Ms. Blackburn’s 8th grade STEM class. The program paired Oracle employee volunteers with Ann Richards students for a wearable technology design challenge.
