The 2021-2022 Annual Report

Letter from the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Opportunities to reconnect with our community helped define the Star experience for students at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders during the 2021-2022 school year.

Ann Richards School students travel from all corners of the city to challenge themselves daily through unique STEM academics, leadership opportunities, and college-bound programming.

Walking through the halls of our new building, you see Governor Richards’ vision come to life. The Ann Richards School truly is a place where our Stars experience a rewarding educational journey.

Each day, you will see the Stars working together in groups, developing critical thinking skills, and gaining leadership skills.

Through their hard work and dedication, our Stars gain confidence and resiliency, knowing that they will achieve their dreams of graduating from college.

On behalf of the students, alumni, faculty, and staff of the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, thank you for your unwavering support of the Foundation. Your generosity makes an impact on the lives of each and every Star.

With sincere gratitude,

Peggy Hanley Signature
