Bella Thomas Wins a Best Performance Medal at Disney
8th grader Bella Thomas competed against students from around the country at the National Performing Arts Competition at Disney in Orlando, FL the weekend of February 22nd. She won a “Best Individual Performance” Medal as “Little Inez” in Hairspray. Congratulations Bella!

MakerSpace Ribbon Cutting with Impact Austin

ARS Sophomores Place as Finalists in National Architecture Competition
Sophomores Asha Mani and Cypress Lefebre were named finalists in the Tiny Victories architectural design competition. This competition featured submissions from architects throughout the country, all aiming to provide a home for the homeless by creating innovative, affordable, and efficient housing in Austin.

Orchestra Advances to State in Solo and Ensemble
The Stars Orchestra competed in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest with all twelve participants receiving a rating of Excellent or Superior, the highest two ratings. One ensemble qualified for the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest in May. This will be the First time the Stars Orchestra participates for state!
