When you are a Star 8th grader at the Ann Richards School, one of the fun aspects about moving up to high school are the STEM pathways. There are three pathways to choose from while studying in high school – Biomedical Sciences, Media Technology, and Engineering. Your pathway is essentially a college major and our Stars get to learn more during Pathway Day, when their fellow junior and senior Stars share their knowledge with their younger 8th grade counterparts. No matter the pathway each Star studies in high school, the STEM curriculum enables them to better prepare themselves for academic rigor by gaining skills and strengths so they can handle any major in college.
