Ms. Butler’s middle school art classes are getting a lesson in monotyping and copper etching to create collaborative murals thanks to a grant from the Austin Ed Fund and the Ann Richards School Foundation. Flatbed Press opened its doors to provide lessons to Ms. Butler’s classes to learn more about the process. Ms. Butler’s art students will take the techniques learned at Flatbed Press and apply them to create positive posters to display on campus and make thank you cards for teachers.
