The Marching Stars competed at the Bands of America Austin Regional at Kelley Reeves Stadium in Round Rock on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Their performance earned them 1st place in Class A and high achievement awards in all three major categories; Music, Visual, and General Effect. As a result, they were invited to perform an exhibition at the end of the finals portion of the contest.

“For a band this small I was amazed with the level of sound that they put off compared to said size. I believe they’re the smallest band at this contest. Girl tubas rock! And she laid it down playing some awesome pedal tones. Prop work from the guard was very well done, they utilized an abstract moving prop concept that provided a colorful visual aesthetic. I enjoyed this show. Very well done from this young band.”
