Make-O-Rama is Back

Before the Class of 2022 graduated from the Ann Richards School, they wanted to leave a part of their experience as a Star for the next generation of rising Stars to continue. In April of 2016, when the Class of 2022 was in 6th grade, the campus participated in a day-long community building activity known as Make-O-Rama, a way to showcase the maker talents of the school’s MakerSpace through a day of tinkering and creating. Part of Make-O-Rama features a design challenge through grade-level advisory classes creating an outfit made of recycled materials to be presented in an all-school assembly runway fashion show. The Class of 2022 brought the design challenge from Make-O-Rama back as part of their senior Legacy Project. This year’s Make-O-Rama brought back that history from the old campus and established a new tradition of community building for the rising Stars to carry on.
