At the Austin ISD annual Salute Awards, middle school teacher Kim Collins was named Secondary Teacher of the Year for the district. Ms. Collins has taught at Ann Richards for the past 5 years and a teacher for over 15 years. Collins teaches middle school math, high school engineering and coaches soccer at Ann Richards. Collins shared, “Watching that light go on as they figure out a problem is the most rewarding experience I get to witness everyday.”
