Intersession Allows Stars to Start the Spring Semester with Something New

Each year, our Stars start their spring semester with a unique couple of days of exploration, creativity, or community service during Intersession. Intersession allows students to connect with faculty and staff in a new way through volunteering together in the community, learning a new hobby, trying something new, or getting outside. For two days during the first week back from winter break, you will find our Stars volunteering at the South Austin Senior Activity Center or Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, learning Irish dancing or homemade book binding, cooking Korean BBQ, or camping at McKinney Falls State Park. It’s a great way to reset before the academics of the new semester take over.
