The first day of the 2023-2024 school year welcomed back 911 Stars for the 17th year at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. A pep rally with the Marching Stars, Starlettes Dance Team, Stars Cheer, and Color Guard kicked things off for our Stars as they met their new principal, Nicole Griffith. The morning celebrations closed out with a Star Walk for the 6th graders as the seniors from the Class of 2024 helped guide their younger fellow Stars to their learning neighborhood through celebratory high fives and cheers. Special thanks to our Star alumni and Foundation guests for attending the morning festivities and helping start the new school year with us.
