First Class of Grads from Ann Richards Returns for 10-Year Reunion

When the 2023-24 school year started this fall, we knew we were in for a special treat with the first graduating class from the Ann Richards School returning to celebrate their 10-year reunion. The Class of 2013 graduated 52 seniors and earned almost $3 million in merit-based scholarships, a fantastic accomplishment to set the standard for Ann Richards students to follow.

To kick-off their reunion weekend, the Class of 2013 wanted to spend the morning with the current Stars to connect, tour, and share experiences. These Star grads treated our faculty and staff to a breakfast reception and toured the new building to look in awe of all the amazing campus improvements compared to the old building on Prather Lane.

After the tour, the Class of 2013 requested a special meeting to offer a panel-style discussion for some Q & A with the Class of 2024 as they embark on their college journey in the very near future. The questions and advice ranged from how-to find your people in college to how-to network in college and beyond to find the right career.

It was a great day, and the Stars from the Class of 2013 shared a lot of laughs while reconnecting and catching up with everyone on campus. The current Stars were very impressed to meet and learn more about their journeys as the first class from the Ann Richards School, great connections all around.
