Pathway Day is a big deal if you’re an 8th grader at the Ann Richards School. It’s a chance for you to learn about the three STEM-based pathways students choose from while studying in high school – think of it as similar to choosing a college major just four years earlier. Pathway Day allows junior and senior Stars to share their learning experience within the Biomedical Sciences, Media Technology, or Engineering pathways with their fellow 8th-grade Stars. Finding your pathway match will allow you to gain more information while deciding what to pursue in college. Each Star reflects on their pathway as a way to gain skills and strengths in STEM so they’re better prepared to tackle their major in college.
