TAME Trailblazer Hands-on STEM Trailer Visits ARS

The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) visited the Ann Richards School with its Trailblazer II, a STEM-museum-on-wheels that travels to schools and communities across Texas to bring exciting, hands-on exhibits to students. Our middle school Stars from their 8th grade STEM classes interacted with exhibits that featured energy, space, biotechnology, aerodynamics, and weather in the Trailblazer. Volunteers from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) provided instruction to the Stars as they learned more about STEM in the Trailblazer. The TAME Trailblazer visits are designed to introduce students to STEM concepts and career paths, to provide interaction with local STEM professionals, and to encourage participation in STEM electives and extracurricular opportunities.
