Star 8th Grade U.S. History teacher, Mr. James Brewster, was recognized by Humanities Texas for the 2022 Outstanding Teacher of the Humanities Award in a ceremony with Congressman Lloyd Doggett and State Representative Gina Hinojosa. During the ceremony, Humanities Texas recognized Mr. Brewster for engaging students in real, unvarnished history in innovative ways that enhanced their curiosity and respected their questions.
