Our Class of 2026 Stars took part in one of the school’s most cherished traditions: Senior Portrait Day.
One by one, seniors carefully placed their portraits on the Ann Richards School Alumni Wall of Honor, officially leaving their mark on a space that has long celebrated Ann Richards School graduates. The moment was filled with smiles, laughter, cheers, and plenty of photos as our seniors became part of the school’s lasting legacy.
Each year, the graduating senior class replaces the portraits of the previous class, continuing a tradition that allows current students to see the faces and accomplishments of the Stars who came before them. For the next school year, the Class of 2026 portraits will proudly line the hallway, serving as a daily reminder to younger Stars of what is possible.
For many seniors, the experience is emotional. These portraits represent years of hard work, friendships, challenges overcome, and memories made together at the Ann Richards School. What may seem like a simple tradition is a powerful milestone that reminds students just how far they have come.
As younger students walk past the Alumni Wall of Honor each day, they will see more than senior portraits. They will see role models, future college students, leaders, advocates, artists, athletes, and changemakers who once stood exactly where they are today.
