Before the first day of school, our rising seniors returned to campus for Senior College Days to get a head start on one of the biggest milestones of senior year, the college application process.
Throughout the week, our Stars worked alongside the College Center team, led by Director of College Success Programs Eric Heineman, to take the first steps in their college application journey. They built college lists, explored each part of the application process, created professional resumes, planned teacher recommendations, and began completing applications through the Common App. Starting this process before classes begin helps our seniors enter their final year feeling prepared, supported, and ready for what comes next.
Senior College Days are an important part of the College Success Program, helping every Star explore colleges that align with their academic interests, personal goals, and future plans. The support students receive during this program helps ensure they have the tools and resources needed to navigate the path to higher education.
Thanks to the generous support of donors to the Ann Richards School Foundation, our Stars have access to the college advising, programming, and personalized support they need to pursue their dreams. Through donor-funded programs like Senior College Days, the Foundation helps prepare young women to confidently take their next steps toward college and beyond.
The Class of 2027 is already off to a strong start, and we cannot wait to see where their college journey takes them.
