This spring our seniors spent the semester creating a business to help solve a community problem. They met with a client, assigned roles for each other, researched and developed a business plan, built a prototype or platform for the client, and worked with MBA students at UT’s McCombs School Business to help perfect their pitch.
Senior Capstone was sponsored by the Tableau Foundation. Presentations were on April 10, 2018 at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar. Clients included Wheatsville, Ann Richards School PTSA, Front Steps and Sunrise Community Church, Austin ISD’s Alternative Learning Center, Barton Springs Pool Splash Museum, Postpartum Health Alliance of Texas, Ann Richards School Foundation, and the Ann Richards School’s green team.
