A goal of the College Center team is to help our students smoothly navigate the college application process. After surveying the senior class, one of the bigger hurdles was the task of completing a college essay. Students from the Class of 2022 spent the first part of their summer break back on campus with our faculty to work on some of the major components of the college application. The writer’s workshop, funded by the Foundation, helped bring in support to collaborate with each student, so the rising seniors at the end of the week had their essays complete, resumes ready, and a game plan for getting recommendations. All this to help better prepare our Stars to attend college in the fall of 2022.
