Star Librarian Ms. Minda Anderson was named the 2025 recipient of the Texas Library Association’s Librarian of the Year Award! Ms. Anderson will receive the award at the Texas Library Association’s Annual Conference in Dallas this April.
Ms. Anderson is a National Board Certified Teacher/Librarian and has been the Stars Librarian for the last three years. Previously, Ms. Anderson was the 1st grade dual-language teacher at Becker Elementary before becoming the Becker Librarian for nine years. During that time, Ms. Anderson was name the Austin ISD Librarian of the Year in 2018.
