The first week of the spring semester closed out with College Success Day, an opportunity for our current Stars to connect with alumni from the Ann Richards School. This year marked the 9th year for our alumni to speak about life after the Ann Richards School with 28 alums connecting through two panel discussions during high school and middle school advisory classes. Each grade level hosted a group of Star alums via Zoom to connect about dorm life, homesickness, choosing a major, finding money for college, being a first-generation college student, working a job in college, and finding a job after graduation. Original Stars from the Class of 2013 up to our most recent grads from the Class of 2022 joined the panel. It was a great day for our current Stars, Star grads, and faculty to catch up with one another.
