Last week, supporters of Austin Community Foundation’s Women’s Fund visited the Ann Richards School to see firsthand how their investment supports our Stars.
The visit included a conversation with school and Foundation leaders about the partnership between the Ann Richards School and the Ann Richards School Foundation, including the programs and resources that help our Stars succeed in the classroom, prepare for college, and build confidence along the way.
Guests also experienced the school from one of the best perspectives possible, through the students themselves. Student-led tours gave Women’s Fund supporters a chance to hear directly from our Stars about their classes, favorite spaces on campus, and what makes the Ann Richards School special to them.
The Women’s Fund recently supported the Ann Richards School Foundation for the 2025 to 2026 school year, helping sustain programs including college advising, wellness, STEM enrichment, and alumni support. These resources allowed our Stars to explore college campuses, receive guidance throughout the college process, learn through hands-on experiences, and continue receiving support beyond graduation.
We are grateful to Austin Community Foundation’s Women’s Fund for investing in our Stars and taking the time to visit the school, hear their stories, and see firsthand the impact of their support.
