Formula One will be in Austin this weekend at Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix, and the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team dropped by the Ann Richards School for a STEM lesson in racing. As part of a developing partnership with the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team, students at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders were able to connect and learn more about Formula One and potential career opportunities involving engineering in the sport. Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team hopes to develop the next generation of Formula One experts by connecting with our students and engaging further in the years to come as they participate in the United States Grand Prix here in Austin. Each high school engineering class spent the morning learning more about the intricate details of the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team car and how the development carries over to a lot of the mainstream safety measures for vehicles today.
