The 2019-2020 school year Teacher of the Year for the Ann Richards School was awarded to Ms. Brianne Welser. Ms. Welser teaches AP World History and coaches our Stars XC and Track teams. We also recognized our amazing semi-finalists, Ms. Sanders and Ms. Eakin during morning assembly.
The Teacher of Promise for the 2019-2020 school year is Ms. Kat Williams. Ms. Williams is our Color Guard Director and teaches beginner and middle school band.
Also this Spring, Ms. Denise Sanders was 1 of 28 teachers across the country to be awarded a STEM grant from the Society for Science & the Public. Ms. Sanders teaches AP Chemistry and Biomedical Technology.
