The Women’s Fund, a program of the Austin Community Foundation, held the Keyholder’20 event featuring keynote speaker Ziauddin Yousafzai, Malala’s father, who spoke about the importance of education for women across the globe. Austin Community Foundation invited 20 ARS students to attend, and sophomore Sophie P. was recognized onstage as one of nine Austin-area students who are making positive changes in our community. Sophie will receive $1,000 to continue her project.
