Ann Richards School Launches Career Success Day

The Ann Richards School recently hosted its first-ever Career Success Day, bringing alumni and professionals to campus to connect with our current Star students.

Inspired by College Success Day, the event gave students a chance to hear real stories about life as a professional. Panelists shared how they found their path, what they chose to study, and what their day-to-day work looks like. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, make connections, and learn from a wide range of experiences.

Career Success Day welcomed both alumni and community professionals, creating space for students to hear from across different industries. For many, it was a chance to see new possibilities and think more broadly about their own futures.

With dedicated sessions for both middle school and high school students, the day was filled with meaningful conversations and moments of inspiration. This new event marks the beginning of a powerful tradition focused on connection, perspective, and helping our Stars imagine what is possible.

Career Success Day is a Foundation effort to support the mission of the Ann Richards School by expanding opportunities for students beyond the classroom. By connecting students with mentors, role models, and real-world experiences, the Foundation continues to invest in developing confident, college-ready leaders who are prepared to make an impact in their communities and beyond.
