Ms. Josephson’s 7th grade STEM class has spent the month of October learning how to code at home using micro:bit. Students use Zoom to chat with Ms. Josephson in the classroom and Mr. Oren in the MakerSpace with a UTeach student-teacher to program robots that drive around the MakerSpace. The process involves the students sharing their code with Ms. Jospehson and Mr. Oren, who then download the code to three custom cars that run the code around a track in the MakerSpace to test if the code works. Out of 155 students, three students have completed the challenge to-date. A tough challenge for our Stars!
