The gym was buzzing this morning as our high school Stars gathered for the 15th Annual Ann Richards School College Fair.
Nearly 100 colleges and universities from across the country and around the world joined us, giving our Stars the chance to connect directly with admissions representatives and learn more about life after Ann Richards. From schools across Texas to universities in California, New York, Hawaii, the United Kingdom, China, and Spain, there was plenty to explore.
Our Stars came prepared with questions about majors, campus life, housing, financial aid, internships, and more. They moved from table to table, shaking hands, asking questions, and learning more about the colleges and programs that caught their interest. Some visited colleges already on their lists, while others discovered schools and programs they hadn’t considered.
Fifteen years in, the College Fair is a favorite fall tradition and an important part of the college journey at Ann Richards. Throughout the year, the College Center team builds relationships with colleges and universities and brings representatives to campus to help our Stars make informed decisions about their futures.
Thank you to all of the college representatives who spent time with our Stars today and helped them imagine what comes next!
