August 22, 2016 marks the first day of school for the 10th year of the Ann Richards School. Ten years ago ARS started with 224 sixth and seventh graders. Today there are over 800 students in grades six through twelve. ARS is excited for another great year with the Stars!
The ARS Soccer team heads in to the final regular season game of the year against Bastrop with a 7-4-1 record and a spot in the 26-5A District playoffs. Senior Alexis Segura also signed her letter of intent to play Division III soccer at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas next year. Go Stars Go!

Marathoner Kristen Zaitz visited with the ARS Cross Country team and Marathon High students two days before competing and winning the 3M Half Marathon.
