In 2016, the Ann Richards School Foundation’s Board of Directors initiated a strategic planning process to design a three-year plan for supporting the Ann Richards School.
The Foundation’s strategic plan included the following goal:
Achieve College To and Through – Partner with the Ann Richards School to
—Ensure 100% of students graduate on time and are admitted to college each year, and
—Support its graduates in successfully completing college and/or transitioning to the workforce
The Foundation assembled a team of Board members, school faculty and industry experts to study existing, quality To and Through College support programs. In addition, school faculty analyzed data about its initial four graduating classes to understand the barriers specific to our alumni.
The study team presented its report and recommendations to the Foundation’s Board of Directors in May 2017.
