Austin Ed Fund grant update

A Great Start to the School Year
On Monday, August 20th we welcomed almost 900 students to the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. It was a grand celebration to start the year with a pep rally and Star Walk. Lots of high fives and positive vibes to begin the 2018-19 school year.
Two Seniors Intern at the UT Department of Neuroscience
Over the summer, Ann Richards School seniors, Bella T. and Kayla Z., interned at the University of Texas – Department of Neuroscience, thanks in part to a sponsorship from The Neuroscience Studies Foundation in Honor of Harvey and Judi Nudelman. Community Leadership Trip to the Dominican Republic
Señora Schnautz’s high school students spent part of their summer in the Dominican Republic on a community leadership trip. Our Stars were involved in learning more about community health, working with healthcare workers to address chronic needs, and participated in community service projects.
