Kealing Middle School Welcomes Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders with Tree Planting

November 14, 2007 — Kealing Middle School staff, students and parents are scheduled to welcome sibling school Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders with a tree planting ceremony on Thursday, November 14, at 4:00 p.m., in the courtyard. The campus is located at 2206 Prather Lane.

The tree, a Texas Orchid Tree, represents the educational and leadership roots the Academy is planting in the future growth of students. It will also provide shade for students when it reaches its maximum height of 12 feet.

The tree is also symbolic of the unity, commitment and dedication that are shared by faculty at both schools.
