New ARS Solar Classroom
Kris Waugh | September 15, 2011ARS was one of 15 AISD schools to be awarded with a federally-funded solar lab through Austin Energy. Our lab is under construction and should be completed this semester. There are plans for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and some talks by Austin Energy and Lighthouse Solar personnel.
A big thanks goes out to ARS parent, volunteer and donor, Mark Penniman, who has donated his time, money, and energy to the implementation and development of this new solar lab.
If you would like to volunteer to help clean up our courtyard, check out the Courtyard Workday schedule for the rest of the year and learn more about the courtyard project.
