Ann Richards School Students participated in the Austin American Statesman Capitol 10,000 on Sunday, March 26th. Over 70 students completed the 6.2 mile event. ARS Students are encouraged to participate in community runs and walks throughout the year.
ARS was fortunate to have visitors from TG on our campus on March 6. TG offers resources and promotes education access so that students can plan and prepare for college.
On Saturday, March 3rd, the Girls Club took a group of middle school students to the Explore UT event, which has come to be known as the biggest open house in Texas. Our students joined thousands from all over in order to tour the school and discover more about the college.
On February 22, 2012, the Women In Transportation Systems–Heart of Texas Chapter’s Transportation YOU program was officially launched at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders.
