ARS Students' Film Selected for Film Festival
Monica Martinez | September 05, 2012Ann Richards School students Ava, Emma, Lucy, Martha and Miabel had their film selected to screen at the 2012 CinemaKids film festival at the University of Texas -- for the second year in a row! The girls produced their film, The Full Moon Means Revenge, during the 2012 Film Camp for Girls at the Ann Richards School, based on a script written by local filmmaker Kat Candler. With only five days to create the project, the girls made their own costumes and sets while acting, directing and editing the film under the guidance of professional women filmmakers and the Ann Richards School's very own Roger Soden. The girls will have a brief Q & A with the audience at the film festival to talk about their experience of producing the film. Congratulations once again!
