ARS Ranked Second Among Central Texas Schools
Natalie Seeboth | May 24, 2012
The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders was recently recognized by CHILDREN AT RISK as the second ranked middle school in Central Texas!
CHILDREN AT RISK is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the quality of life for children across Texas through strategic research, public policy analysis, community education, collaboration, and advocacy. School rankings highlight the successes of outstanding schools, with the aim of sparking important community dialogue on the quality of public education in Texas. On May 21, ARS was honored to host a press conference for Children at Risk and the leaders from the Top 10 High Schools, Top 5 Middle Schools, and Top 5 Elementary Schools in Central Texas. These leaders gathered to accept awards in recognition of their incredible work for Austin’s youth, and we offer our sincere congratulations to all of the schools on their achievements!
