We were thrilled to be mentioned in the Market Watch section of The Wall Street Journal last week! In an article entitled "Bridging the Gender Gap," ARS was profiled, along with several other schools nationwide, as a example of a school that's going above and beyond to introduce girls to engineering and its concepts. Engineering coursework is provided to every ARS student, beginning in the 6th grade; and our Engineering Pathways continues that learning for our high school students. We believe that exposing our students to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields will increase the likelihood they will pursue careers where women are traditionally underrepresented.
