The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders depends on the support of individuals, foundations and corporations to provide enhanced academic, extracurricular, college preparatory and leadership development programs for our students. Your support is an important investment in the success of our students and provides incalculable returns.

Making a donation is easy. Donations are:

• Tax deductible
• Managed by the Austin Community Foundation (ACF) through the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders Fund
• Acknowledged with a letter from ACF and the Chair of the Board of the Ann Richards School

Join the Governor's Council with an annual contribution

As a founding member of the Governor's Council, you will join a group of distinguished leaders who provide sustaining financial support for the unique programs at the Ann Richards School.

Governor's Council members receive invitations to special school events, updates on our progress and acknowledgement on our Web site. You will also receive a star pin designed by Brian Mikeska – a unique symbol Governor Richards shared with her closest friends – to remind you of your partnership with the students at the Ann Richards School.

Your support is needed. Please consider joining the Governor's Council by making a multi-year commitment at one of the following levels:

• Bronze: $1,000
  Provides 2 school-wide career days bringing real life role models to the school to share information on careers, leadership, goal setting and more.
• Silver: $2,500
  Pays for academic-focused summer camp experiences on college campuses for 10 students.
• Gold: $5,000
  Pays for 50 students to visit college campuses including tours, visits to classrooms, introductions to professors, lunch and transportation.
• Platinum: $10,000
  Provides a 10 day summer transition camp for over 100 incoming sixth graders to ensure their success in a new school.

Your investment helps achieve our goal of each girl attending college by supporting the school's enrichment programming including summer camps, after school programming and college visits. Enrichment programs supplement the public investment from the Austin Independent School District, and costs are expected to grow to approximately $500,000 annually by 2012 when our student population reaches 800.
