Volunteers play a critical role in supporting our students and faculty at the Ann Richards School, and we welcome your interest in helping our girls succeed.
Volunteer Opportunities
Mentor
Extend your support and guidance to a student in a one-on-one relationship.
Office Volunteer
Assist the office staff in a variety of jobs, including making copies for teachers, answering the phone, sorting the mail, and delivering items to classes.
Library Volunteer
Help the librarian with cataloging, shelving, organizing, and checking out books.
Special Events Volunteer
Plan and help with school events, including performances, open houses, and fundraisers.
Ambassador
Help us build support for our girls. Host a fundraising event, participate in a race or walk or come up with your own creative ideas! Contact Michelle Krejci at michelle@annrichardsschool.org for more information.

Share your experience in college and your career with Ann Richards School students.

Business partners introduce 11th graders to their business for a weeklong internship experience.
Steps to Volunteer
Let us know you are interested by contacting Diana Nenque at 512.414.3355 or dnenque@austinisd.org
- Register with Austin Partners in Education.

For most volunteers, this process will include a background check.

Select "Volunteer" (Volunteer Center)

Select Ann Richards School and then click "Search"

Scroll through the volunteer choices and select the one that interests you.

You will be taken to a Sign Up screen.

Enter your email address.

If you receive an error message, please click on "Volunteer Registration" to authorize a background check and fill out the new volunteer form.

Note: If you receive a "Thank You" message after entering your email, this means that the system recognized your email address and you will not need to fill out another form.

After receiving a confirmation from Austin Partners in Education, contact Diana Nenque at dnenque@austinisd.org to schedule your orientation.
