How did you get involved with the Ann Richards School?

Ann Richards and I knew each other for many years because of our work in politics. My relationship with her and my interest in education were the two main reasons for my initial involvement with the Ann Richards School.

Why do you think it is important to get involved with an organization like the Ann Richards School Foundation?

I feel it is important because the girls who attend the Ann Richards School have a goal and nothing is going to stand in the way of their goals. I truly think that some influential people in history will be ARS alumnae.

What is the best part about volunteering for the Ann Richards School Foundation?

The best part about volunteering is the opportunity to get to work with the staff. I also find it fun to help prepare for the fundraising events.
