Ann Richards School Birthday Bash

The second annual Ann Richards School Birthday Bash was held on Monday, September 14th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the home of Chris Mattsson and John McHale.

The Ann Richards School Birthday Bash celebrates the legacy of Ann Richards and the anniversary of the opening of the Ann Richards School, a public, all-girls school in Austin, Texas.

The Ann Richards School Birthday Bash also honors members of the Governor's Council — contributors supporting the school's enhancement programming through an annual donation.

Guests mingled with Ann Richards School students and enjoyed birthday cakes prepared by Austin's finest female chefs. Special guest actress Holland Taylor, star of the hit show Two and a Half Men, attended.

Last year's event generated nearly $90,000 for enhancement programs at the Ann Richards School. These programs are critical to ensure our girls are prepared to succeed in college, lead healthy and well-balanced lives, and become the next generation of leaders.
