College Preparation
The Ann Richards School aims for 100% of our students to attend and graduate from college.
To support our students on their path to college, the Ann Richards School implements an array of enhancement programs:
- Intensive college advising services for students and their families beginning in the 6th grade
- Annual college campus visits for all students
- Summer and after-school programs that include academic, cultural and service learning opportunities
- Career exploration activities including required internships and guest speakers who are highly accomplished in their respective fields
- Test preparation and academic programs that support classroom learning
- Personalized assistance with their college search and financial aid process
